New Illumina MiSeq Sequencing Service
The Centre has recently expanded its next-generation sequencing services by purchasing an Illumina MiSeq system. The MiSeq will complement our existing HiSeq 2000 service. Please contact us for further information and a competitive quote.

Professor Marc Wilkins Wins Prestigious Science Award
Congratulations go to the Centre Director Professor Marc Wilkins on being awarded the ASBMB Beckman Coulter Discovery Science Award for 2012. This prize is awarded to an ASBMB member for distinguished contributions to the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. The award will be announced in the next issue of The Australian Biochemist, and presented at the 2012 ComBio Conference in Adelaide in September, where Marc has been invited to present a symposium talk.

Do you have an industry partner?
Research collaboration grants are currently available to researchers who have industry partners. These NCRIS Industry Fund grants are available until December 2012 and aim to help researchers access genomic, proteomic and informatic services at UNSW such as those offered by the Ramaciotti Centre, the Systems Biology Initiative and the Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometery Facility.
